Returns Policy  

Our House Holdings (Pty) Ltd t/a Mabel™  

We want you to feel confident and completely satisfied with every purchase from Mabel™. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

1. Returns Eligibility  

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery, provided that:

- The item is unused  

- It is in its original packaging  

- It is in a resalable condition  

2. Hygiene & Safety  

As our products are designed for infants and young children, hygiene is extremely important.  

For this reason, we are unable to accept returns on products that have been opened, used, or are not in resalable condition, unless the item is defective or incorrect.

3. Cooling-Off Period  

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, you may cancel your order within 5 business days after delivery of the goods.  

A full refund will be provided, excluding reasonable return shipping costs.

4. Defective or Incorrect Items  

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.  

We recommend notifying us within 7 days so that we can resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

In these cases, we will arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in line with your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.

5. 6-Month Consumer Protection  

Under the Consumer Protection Act, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product is found to be defective within 6 months of purchase, provided the product has been used as intended.

6. Return Shipping

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.
  • We recommend using a trackable courier service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

7. Refunds  

Once your return has been received, inspected, and approved:

- Refunds will be processed within 5 business days  

- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method  

8. How to Initiate a Return  

All returns must be approved by us before being sent back.  

To start a return, please contact us with:

- Your order number  

- A brief reason for the return
